Oftentimes, reiki practitioners take quick classes and are certified within hours. Some Reiki Master and Master Teacher programs even certify over the course of a weekend. There are many fabulous training programs out there, but some practitioners feel that they haven't had enough hands-on or in-depth practice before offering their treatments professionally.
I was trained at the John Harvey Gray Center for Reiki Healing, with a clear (and short) lineage back to Dr. Usui. My lineage is Lourdes Gray; John Harvey Gray; Mrs. Hawayo Takata; Dr. Chujiro Hayashi; to Dr. Mikao Usui. The Master Program from which I graduated took me approximately eight months, and the Reiki Master Teacher program at the John Harvey Gray Center for Reiki Healing is 2-3 years long (this is in my future plan). I am very confident in my training and I hope that my reiki treatments reflect the quality of my education.
The style of reiki that I practice is traditional and true to Hawayo Takata. My training is on-going, in-depth and comprehensive, and I am constantly taking classes so I can add as many tools as I can to my reiki toolbox.
I earned my Level 1, 2, 2 Advanced, and Master certifications from the John Harvey Gray Center for Reiki Healing. I also plan on furthering my education to become a RMT (Reiki Master Teacher).
I also earned my Reiki Crystal Healing Certification, and have added a new treatment to the menu! See my services for more information.
